Colleen Lavery

Colleen Lavery joined JKM Services in 2010 as Project Controller.  Ms. Lavery is responsible for the daily accounting, financial reporting and cash management operations of all real estate assets.  She also spearheaded the development and implementation of JKM’s internal Accounting Policies and Procedures.

    Prior to joining JKM, Ms. Lavery worked at a large third-party condominium and rental property management company, as an Accounting Manager.  Ms. Lavery oversaw a department of a dozen accounting staff.  Her duties included hiring, staff education and training, implementation of accounting policies and procedures, and final review of all work product.  Ms. Lavery was also responsible for coordinating third-party audits, compliance with statutory record keeping requirements and general business development.

    Ms. Lavery graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.  She has over ten years of practical accounting experience with condominium/homeowner’s associations, multi-family rental properties, tax credit properties, and commercial real estate assets.  

Gary A. Einfalt

Gary A. Einfalt joined JKM Services in 2009.  Mr. Einfalt’s primary role as Operations Manager involves the management of all residential unit renovations and the implementation of property-specific maintenance programs.  Prior to joining JKM, Mr. Einfalt worked alongside JKM’s Principals at Boca Raton based EB Developers as a Regional Maintenance Supervisor.  Einfalt was responsible for both unit-specific and full property renovations at ten condominium conversion and institutional grade multi-family rental communities located in Hillsborough, Orange, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.
    Einfalt is a graduate of Old Dominion University and served with the U.S. Navy for 22 years.  He retired in 2003 as an Aviation Ordnance Chief Petty Officer prior to joining EB Developers and subsequently JKM Services.  Mr. Einfalt’s organizational abilities and strict dedication to his work prove invaluable in managing the in-field operations for multiple properties through out the state

Jenny Lobenberg

Jenny Lobenberg joined JKM Services in 2009.  Mrs. Lobenberg’s role as an Operations Manager involves the oversight of office personnel, property specific leasing programs, record keeping, collections, and monthly unit management.  Mrs. Lobenberg previously worked with JKM’s Principals at EB Developers where she served as both a Community Manager and Closing Coordinator for multiple condominium conversion and new construction projects.  Her experience spans projects located in Hillsborough, Orange, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.
    Prior to her work with both JKM and EB Developers, Mrs. Lobenberg worked for Wood Partners Developers as an Assistant Construction Coordinator.  In this role she assisted with construction schedules, processed draw requests and coordinated with leasing staff on five new construction institutional grade rental communities located through out Palm Beach County.  

    Mrs. Lobenberg graduated in 1993 with a degree in Business Management from Bauder College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She began her community management career soon after working for companies such as ZOM Management, Archstone Management and Gables Residential.  Mrs. Lobenberg’s experience in the construction, management, leasing, and sales of numerous condominium and multi-family residential rental assets proves invaluable as an Operations Manager for non-performing properties.

Angela Pickett

Angela Pickett joined JKM Services in early 2011 as a Corporate Controller.  Mrs. Pickett’s position involves the general oversight of corporate accounts, human resources and both accounts payable and receivable.  Prior to her position with JKM, Mrs. Pickett worked within the accounting department of the Sax Sachs Caplan law firm where she processed real estate closing funds, handled accounts receivables, generated yearly operating budgets, and administered human resource programs.

    In addition to her position with Sax Sachs Caplan, Mrs. Pickett also worked for Boca Raton based EB Developers as an Accounting Manager over a ten year period.  Mrs. Pickett was responsible for corporate accounts payable and receivables, construction draws, bank account reconciliation, and human resources management for over 60 employees.  She has also served as the primary accounting contact for multiple lenders, including Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, Ohio Savings Bank, and Bank Leumi.

John K. Markey

John K. Markey formed JKM Services in 2008 after successfully leading EB Developers, Inc. as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.  Markey assumed responsibility for overall company direction, including the development, construction and lease-up/sale of multiple condominium and multi-family rental properties throughout Florida.  In his tenure with EB, Markey oversaw company growth from $60 million under development to a value in excess of $4 billion.
During the 1990s Markey relocated to Palm Beach County, Florida, from Maryland and formed Hoffman, Markey Architects, PA.  He then joined the prestigious South Florida architectural firm, Tektonica, as a managing partner and project architect.

Prior to his Florida relocation, Markey owned the firm, JKM Design/Build, Inc. in Maryland, where he managed the company as an entrepreneur.  He was the design architect and general contractor qualifier for commercial and residential design/build projects.

Mr. Markey is a Harvard University Graduate School of Design-trained architect where he was nominated as a Loeb Fellow for excellence in the built and natural environments. As a Developer, Builder and Property Manager/Operator, Markey brings out-of-the-box thinking and an aggressive style to all projects.  While studying as an undergraduate at the University of Arizona College of Architecture, Markey began his career on jobsites learning various construction trades.  He has mastered all aspects of the real estate business from the ground-up through academic and industry-leading initiatives.

Adam P. Freedman

Adam P. Freedman co-founded JKM Services in 2008.  Prior to JKM, Freedman worked alongside John Markey at Boca Raton-based EB Developers as a multifaceted Financial Analyst, Risk Manager and Chief Technology Officer.  Freedman’s expertise in both accounting and technology have served invaluable in establishing technology-based solutions for managing the general operations and finances of real estate assets through out the state.  
Prior to 2005, Mr. Freedman served as a member of a Morgan Stanley consulting team contracted to design and implement multiple information systems.  Several systems were designed in order to analyze and evaluate the degree of competition between large public firms in the healthcare sector.
Freedman launched his professional career as a technical analyst for Trans Union, LLC, where he was responsible for the design, development and implementation of a reporting system used to monitor associate performance and operations efficiency.  Freedman holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware, where he majored in Finance with minors in Economics and Management Information Systems.

James S. Gielda

James S. Gielda joined Mr. Markey as co-founder and Principal of JKM Services in 2008.  Mr. Gielda’s primary role with JKM involves the management of on-site receivership operations.  Prior to co-founding JKM Services, Gielda worked alongside John Markey at Boca-Raton based EB Developers, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager and subsequent Director of Real Estate Entitlements. Gielda executed land use, site plan, and permit approvals for numerous multi-family residential projects throughout Hillsborough, Orange, St. Lucie, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties.

Gielda began his professional career with one of the largest land use consulting firms in South Florida, Land Design South.  He quickly rose to the position of Senior Project Manager in which he was responsible for managing and executing comprehensive plan, re-zoning, conditional/requested use, master/site plan, and architectural approvals while leading an interdisciplinary team.  In addition to his land use work, Gielda was responsible for governmental lobbying, client outreach and contract/accounts receivables management.

Mr. Gielda graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture degree from the School of Architecture + Design, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Planning Congress and serves as a Florida state-level real estate lobbyist.
